So, I've gotten this High Elf army table ready in the last couple of months. The full gallery is at:

But this last one was very interesting. I actually had a problem with the colors running when I varnished. Any ideas?

Hundreds if not thousands of models painted and I've NEVER had this happen before.

Strange. It only happened with the blue paint, right? Were you using a different brand or color?

I love how the potions turned out, and the freehand on the inside of the cloak looks nice. Don't get yourself too beat up about the model!

It was Citadel blues for each color, all the previous paint range. The white was a mix of P3 and Citadel (new range). I did use Nuln Oil to shade the corners.

That one spot was the only place it happened. To be honest, it's not the worst effect in the world. The purple under the white being next to the blue is kind of neat. I just didn't intend for it to be that way!
