Hey, I was listening to an episode the other day while painting and I heard all of you talk about gaming and other hobbies. Greg mentioned loving RPG's, and I have to concur, they are definitely my favorite games too. I've been addicted to a game I beat last year, but decided to pick back up again recently. It's called Dark Souls, and it's a spiritual sequel to Demon souls on the PS3. They market it as an extremely hard game, and it is, but it's one of the more rewarding gaming experiences I've found recently. It brought me back to my Sega Genesis gaming. No "saves", a huge, open world with an ingenious way of navigating around and a high degree of difficulty. Basically you are placed in a fantasy world called Lordran, given very little direction or hand holding, and you pretty much discover the story and plot yourself through exploration and reading the item descriptions. You hack, slash, use magic and take on huge and unique bosses. Anyone else out there play it? Have any thoughts? I've got over 105 hours on one character so far, and I'm working on the third play through.
